2nd degree tearing. I have to change pad every 3 hrs, and there is some fresh blood out every time i use restroom Had blood clot few days ago, few times, maybe plum size.. but havent had them in the last few days
It is still early. You should be seeing less fresh blood from the tears though. Clots may be on the larger side but still within normal. If you are breastfeeding that can cause more gushes of blood to happen. But if you are worried I would seek an appointment with obgyn
@Shadi this sounds pretty normal but to er on the side of caution maybe contact your ob and see what they say. It's still pretty early. I wouldn't expect your blood output to lesser until about 3 or 4 weeks after delivery
Yes. I delivered 10/2 and still bleeding a little but definitely was at day 10. I noticed that if my bleeding slowed down, it gets back heavier after I do a lot of moving around and physical activity the day before. I called in and they said it was normal.
My bleeding has slowed down drastically , and I am on day 22 PP, still have a few clots but the amount of bleeding has gone down drastically, like a day 4-5 period amount. Vaginal birth with first degree tear
@Leslie I also had a second degree & a cervical tear. Did you have any issues with your new pregnancy with your cervical tear?
@Taylor no. I had my first son 9 years ago and had his brother 3 and half years later. Didn't have any issues. I will say though the team was on high alert because I did hemorrhage with my first son because of the internal tear. So this time I was 9 and half centimeters and baby came crashing through but I had no issues. No tearing or anything this time.
I bled for over 3 weeks with my first, I think it's pretty normal! But call your doctor if you're nervous at all.
I’m on day 10 and was wondering the same thing. Also about to paint/soreness. Wondering when it will subside!
If you don't mind me asking, what degree was your tear? I bled a lot with my first son and had second degree tearing along with a cervical tear. I was bleeding heavily on and off for about 3 weeks. Also have you passed any clots larger than an egg? Have you filled more than one pad in 24 hours?
