Advice for baby with cold not drinking milk

My 4.5 month old seems to be unwell, she has mucusy poops and also had a spit up with a lot of phlegm. I am also unwell and have a sore throat, blocked nose and headache. I assume she has something similar to me. The problem is that she just isn’t hungry from the moment she woke up. I am having to really follow her all day and get drops of milk in. I wanted some advice on any other mamas whose babies have been unwell and lost their appetite? How long does this last and when should I be concerned?

I’ve not experienced this but if I was you every hour try and offer milk, my baby had a bad cold at about 2 months old this spray (I’ll add pic) helped so much. And I gave calpol when it got bad.

Thank you!! @kelly

I’d be sucking the mucous out. I have a frieda snot sucker and it was great when she was unwell. Helped her to be able to breathe more clearly and therefore she could feed better. Your baby may just be no hungry due to the cold so as long as you’re offering when you can, you’re doing the best thing. So hard to see them poorly x
