Boy leaky nappy

I’ve changed my boy’s outfit 5x today - every time he wees it is going up his back. Nappies are as tight as they can be - any tips? 😅

Make sure his wee wee is pointed down, apart from that I can't help 😅

@Giorgia tried that 😆

Lots of friends have recommended pampers to prevent leaking.

I've found pampers are the worst for leaking 😬 Maybe you need to go to size 2?

Aldi nappies worked best when I had my boy however overall it is just tough as nappies don’t fit newborns very well

@Charlotte using pampers 😫

@Lauren he’s in a 0 atm so may try the 1s tonight!

My little one always leaked with pampers

Try going up a size, this worked for us :)

@Abi yes try a bigger size and maybe switch brands. Lidl have always always been decent for us boy wise

We have had this with our little boy! We have sized up and it has appeared to make such a difference!

We’ve had the exact same issues but I slowly think we’re getting there!!!! We was using pampers size 1 and swapped to Aldi size 1, make sure the frills are out by running your finger underneath them around the thigh area, and best thing that has helped with stopping leaks, we put a cotton pad or 2 at the top of the nappy to slightly fill the gap between the back and where the nappy sits. We found whenever he was lay flat the wee would seep out of this gap, assuming he’s not got enough chub yet to fill out the waistband of the nappy. Since doing this we haven’t had any leaks!

We had the same issue. Make sure the frilly leg cuffs are out & not tucked in

size 1 are too small...need to go up one size.

Also, if you’re using vests, make sure it’s not tight around his nappy. As that will push up the nappy and add pressure for more possible leaks
