No nap and bedtime

If your little one doesn’t nap anymore do you put them to bed a lot earlier than what they would of to make up the day nap? My little girl has been battling naps for a few weeks and bed time has been taking ages so I think we are on the way to dropping the nap, we’ve had days where she doesn’t nap at all, today she decided she didn’t want to nap as she didn’t wake untill 8.20 this morning, she has just fallen asleep at 5.50 🙈 I’m praying she stays there untill the morning, anyone else’s little one go to sleep really early since dropping the nap? We’ve had a super buisy day today too she had nursery this morning an then a long walk this afternoon so I’m hoping she gets a full night sleep bless her x

Yes! My boy has pretty much dropped his naps, he will sometimes nap at nursery however barely does any more. He usually goes to bed at 5:45/6 when he doesn’t nap and sleeps through where he’s so knackered. Hopefully the same for you! Xx

My son is the same, he’s having a sleep regression - apparently this is the last! So we are holding onto the nap until this phase passes, sometimes he will only have half an hour nap but we make sure he wakes up no later than 2 so that he will be asleep at night between 7-8pm. He wakes up around 6:30am, nap at 12 or 1ish if after nursery and wakes between 1:30 and 2pm. They should have around 5:30-6 hours wake windows at this age but if dropping a nap works for you then go for it. If my son refuses a nap we put him down at 6pm xx

Wakes at 6.30/7, naps at 12 for approx 1-1.5 hours then bed about half 7ish. When she doesn't nap we start bedtime 12 hours after waking up.

My little one goes to sleep at 7 and sleeps for 12 hours without a nap. If he has been to nursery we will put him to bed at 6:30 as he’s shattered
