Milk Bleb advice

This morning I noticed one of my boobs was more engorged than normal. Got my LO to feed on it but he became instantly frustrated as he couldn’t get anything out. I can see I have a bleb and it’s making it very difficult for milk to flow out. I have been able to get a tiny bit out throughout the day by hand expressing but pumping and getting my baby to feed on it is not helping. I’m really engorged and in pain. I don’t know what to do. Has anyone got any advice?

The thing that helped me was warm compresses on the nipple and it finally comes away with some gentle massaging. Other than that I just kept feeding baby off the good boob, and once semi satisfied (so they weren't starving and frustrated) and get baby to suckle on the blocked one which took a couple of days of being consistent. Keep going xx

I had a milk bleb that would not budge for about 4 weeks, it finally went after putting lansinoh lanolin nipple cream on after every feed/pump and it softened the skin loads After a very warm shower the skin sort of exfoliated away when drying with a towel and the blockage came out xx

I tried every natural remedy when I got one but nothing worked and it became so painful, so I used a hot sterile pin and popped it, then used my electric pump to gently drain xx

Warm water and epsom salts in a haaka was the only thing which worked for me, had one for weeks but went in 3 days using the haaka
