Cot naps during or after regression?

My little one naps well (but only for 30-45 minutes!) in his next to me and has done for a number of weeks now. He’s almost 4 months and to aid transition to his cot at 6 months I was thinking of starting putting him down for naps in his cot - thoughts? Should I wait until we are through the regression?

Honestly I'd give it ago, you never know baby might sleep better! X

Your baby might not even hot the regression. My first was unphased

I started to do this for morning naps a few weeks ago. It has worked well 😊 Mine only naps for 30-45 mins each time as well

I started putting my girl for naps in her big cot on and off since about 2.5 months as she just couldn't sleep well downstairs. Entering the short nap phase now but she still goes down in the cot, might as well!

I tried our baby in her cot in her room for the first time today and she slept for an hour. Thought it went so well that we’ve moved her into her the big bed overnight tonight!! 🤞🤞
