@Ludy thank you so much!!🫶🏼
If you try all the tips for morning sickness and nothing is helping then contact your midwife and discuss medication. With my first pregnancy I had HG but didn’t realise. I just thought I was weak at handling morning sickness compared to my friends. After a few months of vomiting daily, debilitating nausea and losing a ton of weight I got put onto Zofran/ondansetron and it gave me my life back. But by then I was very weakened and couldn’t recover properly while pregnant. I should have started the meds much sooner.
During my first and third trimester, I was either too nauseous to eat anything or when I did eat, it came back up. I noticed that crackers or toast and sips of water helped the most to at least provide some nourishment (think of the BRAT diet). Another tip is eat a snack in bed before you get up in the morning. Don’t sit up or even try to pick up your head too much. This will help the food settle and stay down. Remember that any bit helps, and try not to shame yourself for not finishing a meal - YOU’RE DOING GREAT!!
