I moved my daughter I think around 19ish months
I moved mine to a toddler bed at 18 months coz he learned to climb over it & ended up falling over & hurting himself bad. I guess once they show signs of climbing or wanting to look over that’s when you try to put them into a toddler bed

Guava lotus has a zip door on the side so it's like a pack a nd play.... But it's also completely on the floor. You can actually find them secondhand decently if you know where to look ( Facebook marketplace, maybe craigslist)
We did a floor bed from 10 months!
We brought a blow up toddler bed from argos and its perfect! But appreciate it may not work if you’re worried they’ll get up and move around the room
