Those with 2...pushchair configuration?

We are just about to have our 2nd, for those currently with 2 how are you getting out and about? Stroller for toddler and baby carrier? Pushchair and buggy board? Double buggy?

I have a 2nd who is I months old. Usually 8 month old is in the harness or pram. Toddler walks. When the toddler gets tiered, the baby goes in the harness and toddler in the pram. Double pram just seem to bulky. Debated a buggy board but I think he'd just jump off of it.

So the first 3 months, just had toddler in pram, baby in sling. Then it progressed to baby in bassinet pram, toddler on buggy board. But then toddler likes to still nap in pram, so if I was alone I'd never be with both out around nap time. We soon bought a 2nd single cheap pram, which use when my hubby is with us most weekends. Then now baby is 7months and forward facing and out of the bassinet, bought a double buggy. So in summary have 3 prams and buggy board. But we did save money by not having a double buggy Immediately , as we'd have to fork out another bassinet pram configuration, which we already owned from child number 1. Also, baby no.2 just wanted the sling in those early days

I bought a little seat that attaches to the pram, think it's called a roma uptown or something like that. Toddler loves it but doesn't feel all that stable going over bumps etc so don't think I'd recommend it for much more than short walks. We tend to use the carrier for baby once toddler gets tired and needs the pram now

I had my 2nd when she had just turned 2, got a double buggy and it was never used! She walked everywhere and wouldn't even use the buggy board so brought a double for no reason at all!

My 2 year old walks or goes on his balance bike now. I take the buggy and he gets in it when he is tired or unsafe parts of walking with balance bike. But when my other two were two toddlers I used to have a double buggy. They loved it! But it was also helpful taking a sling and a buggy and swapping babes around like someone else had mentioned. Right now I’m pregnant so I can’t take a sling so I’ll take the buggy but most of the time he walks now …
