When should be concerned about the bleeding? I’m day 5 of the cycle and it’s still so heavy. Not enough to fill a pad

My first period or 2 after birth were always heavier than normal.
I was told to only worry if I have blood clots the size of a golf ball during pp I bleed heavy it will take a bit to stop an your monthly the first month probably will be heavy
