Nasal congestion? Mucus?

Basically, my baby is now going into the fifth week of having congestion! He basically sounds like a little pig! Last week he was snotty but I think that was due to the jabs. He basically sounds like a little pig and it feels like it’s in his nose. I’ve taken him to the doctors because when he sniffs and sounds like a little pig, you can slightly feel it in his chest and back. they said it’s not on his lungs or on his chest and it can take up to 6 weeks to go actually congestion do you think or is it mucousy? Is absolutely fine in himself and hasn’t had a temp from it. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this?

Yeah we had congestion for a few months. It went and now it's back. Can take ages to clear with little ones.

@Sophie oh okay! Can you explain the little about how your little ones congestion is?

That’s how mine sounds too, we did previously use the snuffle babe drops which were actually really good, we just need to buy some more

@Frayere how long has your baby had it for? Can you describe it? Yeah we have them but doesn’t seem to shift it x

He’s been like it pretty much since birth, and just sometimes snorts and you can occasionally hear it a little in his chest

@Frayere yeah wish I could put up what he sounds like on here

So we have to use saline spray every night around 2am as he struggles to breathe through his nose after lying down for so long. Sometimes I have to use a snot sucker first thing in the morning. During the day he's much better. He sounds like he's snoring when he's breathing when it's bad.

Our boy is like this and GP said it sounds like allergies to pets x

Yeah, I use Sterimar to open up those nasal passages I definitely reccomend

How often and regular are you all using them?
