Hip pain?

Anyone else experience hip pain when sleeping? Like it feels my hip bones are gonna pop out like a Barbie leg or something. I’m going to bring this up to my Obgyn on my next visit

I’ve had awful hip pain since I was like 27 weeks pregnant

Yes left hip has hurt from early days 😪

Do you have a pregnancy pillow or body pillow?

@Ellie I do! The pillows don’t work and I’ve noticed sometimes too that my hips will hurt like hell in general when I’m walking or leaning and such. I can’t wear high heels because it leads to that severe hip pain and followed by nausea. I was like is this a side affect of severe dehydration or something at first. Now I’m just bamboozled

I experience this as well, after a day at work , when I get home and relax it’s all fine till I try to stand up from the sofa and I can’t walk.. pillows inbetween my knees have helped a bit

@Daniella thank you, I’ll go ahead and try that tonight or with my naps to see if it helps

Oh my gosh, yes! My hip pain started at around 24weeks. I got a pregnancy pillow first thinking that it would help, but like you, I didn’t really notice much change at first. But I started doing prenatal yoga and exercises that work on hip mobility, which seems to ease the pain a lot more than the pillow alone for me. Maybe this will help

Ugh yes. Both pregnancies my hips have hurt and sleeping on my side makes it worse. First time around I saw a chiropractor regularly and that helped a lot but I think a lot of it is just because the weight of sleeping on my side all the time.

Try a reading pillow to recline in bed. Sometimes I would get too uncomfortable in bed and would go sleep on the sofa propped up with pillows.

I had this since my first pregnancy 11 years ago it just never went away I saw a physio and she mentioned weak hips and doing exercises to strengthen them

Yes whole time. Try acupuncture
