Sleep, or lack of

My LB who is 5 months today has stopped sleeping in his cot. Hes refusing. As soon as i transfer him to the cot he wakes up and thats it then, he cries until i pick him up. For my own sanity i would prefer not to co-sleep. But does anyone have any tips for me? I cant really let him cry it out as i have an almost 2 year old who is a light sleeper…

How does your little one drop off at night when you say you transfer him? X

Is he under the weather at all? My little one was doing 2 weeks ago and then he came down with a cold. The cold has now left and he's back to being happy in his cot. He just needed that extra for his first illness

I’m in the same boat! Could be teething or he’s going through a developmental stage! We are up at 4 am at the minute! My two year old hears everything in her sleep too so I know how hard it’s is! I’ve had them both in bed with me sometimes! (Also my partner! Even had to resort to sleeping on the sofa some nights so that most of us get a decent sleep x

Same thing happened to me so I gave up putting him in the cot asleep and started putting him in awake, and then reading him a few stories whilst in there. As long as he’s calm (not crying) at the end of that I leave the room and wait outside, and he started just dropping off himself after about 10 mins x
