Baby waking at 4am

Hi moms, For the past week my baby has been sleeping through the night but the past two days she’s been waking up at 4am. She then only wants to sleep in our arms, not the crib. She’s going to bed around 8pm. Does anybody have any advice on how to help her sleep through the night again? Thanks!

Not any advice but I’m going through the same thing so I’m following up. Usually when my baby wakes up around 4am I reassure her for one or two minutes and leave the room, she ends up calming down about one or two minutes later but that doesn’t always work. I hope someone else can give their insight

Mine has been doing this too! But he desperately wants to eat at that time. He will wake up anywhere between 4-6

Is your baby breastfed? My little gal has been doing this since she was born, and she usually wants to eat.

@Bethany This happened to me until I started giving her formula before bed. Helped her put on a lot of weight as well

I don’t know but I would kill for mine to sleep 8-4am even if that meant I always got up at 4 ;). We come nowhere close to an 8 hr stretch

I thought she was hungry, but she’s eating 32oz throughout the day! And she falls asleep on us which makes me think that it’s not hunger. But yes, I’m lucky and grateful for the 8 hour stretch, just strange that it changed again this week!

@Victoria My little gal is in the 98th percentile, so I think she is just hungry 24/7 😂 I was telling my husband that I need to stop feeding her at that time! I think she would be okay without it 😅
