Missed a period

Has anyone totally skipped a period with negative tests? Mine is 2 weeks late now. Did your cycle change because of this or did it stay on track with just a month of no bleeding?

Yes, I have twice in the last year, due to stress and ttc as well xx

@Kirsty thank you for replying. Of all the months this was the least stressful in ages and now this happens 🙈 Did your cycle just continue as normal after?

Been 6 months regular after it happened, now at the beginning of the month for me till the next time lol xx 😘

Hi, I am literally going through the same thing. My sept period was 5 days late (I’m never late) my oct period is currently 9 days late. I haven’t been particularly stressed. I’ve tested a couple of times and getting negative results. I had a meltdown about it all yesterday and was feeling really low. I’m 40 and worried that I may be in perimenopause and have missed the boat for getting pregnant.

It's a horrible feeling as your brain does go, maybe we caught it, and then it just wants to be late... GP won't do anything unless you have missed 3 periods in a row.

Have either of you felt your normal period symptoms? Or any possible pregnancy symptoms in this time? I’ve been feeling so many things I get in pregnancy not with my periods 😩 It’s driving me mad. @Nat have you had any testing done? Apparently if you are over 35 you can have this done after 6 months of trying now. It’s so hard to stay calm isn’t it. I’ve had a blood test to see if there is any hcg present

I have had both symptoms of periods and pregnancy in the missed periods

@Kirsty me too! It’s so horrible 😩

Yeah, I hate it wish it was simple sometimes, especially trying for 2 years after a chemical and having some tests done as over 35 xx

Oh god that must be really hard 😩 we’ve been trying since April after a MMC and I’m now 37. I’ve just come on so I really hope things go back to normal 🤞🏻

Hi. I haven’t had any tests as we only started trying a couple Of months ago. I didn’t know about being tested over 35 so thank you for that. I have submitted a request online to my dr. I’ve had some mild cramps and fatigue but that’s all really. Wishing you ladies lots of luck and I hope things work out for you both. Such a rollercoaster isn’t it! And a minefield! Ovulation tracking, logging everything daily, plucking up the courage to take and then read tests! I’m new to all of this. Takes me ages to work out all of the abbreviations on these apps! 🙈🤣

It really is such a rollercoaster! Haha I am still learning with some of them too 🤣 Thank you, really hope you get some positive news soon too 🤞🏻

Thank you lovely 🙏🏼

The tests I had done were to see I was ovulating, had an ultrasound to see if I had any problems, and some bloods as well. All came back good last August xx so good luck

@Kirsty thank you. So glad all of yours came back good. I’ve put a request in to my dr but haven’t heard back yet 🙄
