Birth advice

Hey! I’m having non identical twins At my 12wk scan I was given 12th Jan as my expected due date I’ve been told I would need to have the babies 3wks before. How accurate is this????? I’m constantly holding onto and around the 22nd December if that’s the case but what is it really like??

I was due 16th of September, had my girls on the 5th of August so be prepared ahah! Xx

So my due date for my twins was December 22nd. However I was told they are induced around 37-38 weeks. So that would make my due date last week of November first week of December. I’m 31 weeks and I already had complications and almost gave birth over the weekend I read after 28 weeks anything can happen so just stay prepared ❤️

My due date was 18th of August and had my girls on the 13th July. We were told our section date would be week 36 but I ended up going early as my waters broke at 34+5. It could be anytime with twins just because they can run out of room x

I had mine 35weeks unexpectedly, yeah just make sure you have everything together and ready for whoever you have potentially pick up I was having my scan and pains so they admitted me there and then next day I had my girls I had nothing with me I had to ask my father in law to get my bags

My 40 week due date was 21 July, and this is what goes on your matb1 form for mat leave. But always told the ideal week for giving birth was 37 weeks 30 Jun to 6 Jul. When it was clear I would be having a section it was scheduled for Jun 30th, exactly 37 weeks x

I had midwife yesterday and she said I'd have my twins 37weeks 37+4 which is the week of 4th March and they were due 25th March, hope this helps xxxx

Very accurate.. my due date was May 1st and they were born April 4th. Also.. the word for "non-identical" is fraternal 🫶🏻

Very accurate my due date was December 9 and I’m currently at the hospital getting a C-section on Monday🙏🏻🙏🏻

My non identical girls were born by scheduled c-section at 37 weeks. I did go into pre term labour at around 34 but held on with medical interaction. If you’re UK based, NHS NICE guidance recommends 37 weeks is safest delivery point. They’re typically very well developed by 37 weeks so don’t worry, if you are that is ❤️

I had DCDA twins last September. I was allowed to go to 38 weeks before induction/ c section. In the end Baby A was breech so I had to have a section, I was 38 weeks exactly x

I’m having MCDA twins due on the 27th November but we’re having a planned section on the 30th October X

We had a planned c section booked in for 37 weeks with our twins but they decided they wanted to arrive at 33+2! X
