Prolapse 22 weeks pregnant

I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby and have noticed that I am definitely having some kind of prolapse down there. Can see like a ball coming through and I can push it back up (sorry tmi!!) But then if I'm on my feet all day and busy carrying my toddlers about then it obviously falls back down again. I'm freaking out because I don't know how I can possible push another baby out if my pelvic floor is clearly absolutely in pieces! I am going to try and see a midwife this week and see what they say. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

I haven’t had a prolapse in pregnancy but depending on the type, a pessary could help keep everything in place and you need to be referred to a pelvic floor physio and OBGYN, then there’s a separate group that does them (you need to be fitted). I did speak to a physio and OBGYN during pregnancy because I was nervous I had a mild one before pregnancy and was worried about delivering vaginally. I do have one after my second Labour but it is mild and with strength training and exercises I’ve drastically improved it. Lifting for prolonged periods is not advised. You need to strengthen to build back up to that. Also while lifting you should do a pelvic floor contraction (keagle) before the lift. It helps strengthen your muscles and can protect from further progression.
