Breastfeeding help

My baby is 8 months and she ended up biting one side over a few days and that side became unbearably painful so I was nervous to feed on it for a couple of days now it's repaired she's fussing at that boob and refusing to latch and when she does try she's getting frustrated and biting me it's only my left side nursing fine on right. Any advice?

Do you have a pump you can use on your left? Maybe if your supply has dropped a bit it's causing baby to be a bit more fussy 🤷‍♀️ but if you pump it might get the supply flowing again? My son bit me the other week on my left and it was agony feeding on that side, but I tried to keep at it, although it was less than normal. I was scared of my supply dropping as its never been the most giving side to begin with. I could be wrong through. I'm not well up on breastfeeding, I just kind of wing it 😂

I no longer let my LO BF when he bites and it’s more likely during the day but I cut him off once it happens. It’s so painful so I’m so sad to hear she got you so bad. I once read that most women (~80%) produce more milk on the right side. I think pumping could help your left side get back up to speed too. It hasn’t had the normal demand.
