Sleeping on me

Hello! My daughter is 4 weeks old and for the last 2 nights has slept in me or my partner. She stirs and wakes everytime I put her down. From 1- wake I haven’t slept as she was on me and she was on my partner before hand. What do you do if you can’t put them down? I feel at a loss. My first daughter did some chunks in her own bed. My lo has gaviscon for reflux but her windy bottom wakes her more often than not.

What is she sleeping in? My little girl hated her next to me as it was so big so we popped her Moses basket inside and she sleeps in that now, much more content x

We have a sleepy head in the next to me

Mine is exactly the same. He'll sleep for hours in my arms but only for 10 minutes in his crib or moses basket.

Jade it is so hard going isn’t it !! How can you safe sleep or get any sleep?! It’s quite stressful 😥

Mine has been like that for the past two and a half weeks 😓 it is so tiring. He is 4 weeks old today. He is just fine when held but the moment we put him down he just starts crying day or night. It is impossible to go to the toilet, prepare food, or do anything. I just hope that he grows out of it soon.

Mine will sleep on me or in his swing during the day. At night he sleeps in the bed next to me. It’s the only way I get any sleep.

It is very hard when baby wont sleep for long unless on you. I co sleep with my LO as it's the only way to sometimes that we both sleep. Check out the lullaby trust it's helped so much so we can safely co sleep. 💙

Swadle the baby if not done yet, try to warn her bed.

My little one is exactly the same… some nights she can do a 2/3 stretch in her dock a tot other nights she only wants to be held… I think this is normal for the newborn days. Doesn’t make it easy though 🤦🏻‍♀️
