Why are people so damn stupid. Talking about how easy it is or the fact that it’s even possible to support a whole family on minimum wage ? As though it’s even possible to buy a house on minimum wage. Talking about how younger people buy unnecessary things like takeout instead of making food at home. As tho a $15 an hour job can pay for rent and food. Not to mention servers literally survive off of tips because they can get paid less due to making tips. I used to walk to work everyday, ate only at work, worked 40+ hour weeks, only had to worry about myself. Not even animals and could hardly make my rent. I didn’t buy fast food. I owned the bare minimum of clothing. Bought the cheapest shampoo and body wash out there. And again. Just barely made rent. I really wish people would do research on how bad the economy really is instead of listening to fake news or social media videos about how amazing life is. Or being older and established in the same damn job for 20+ years so they have no idea what it’s like to try and afford to live as a younger person today. Like yeah Chad I’m so glad your yearly bonuses and raises bought you a house 10-15 years ago and supported your family. Great on you. But it doesn’t work that way nowadays. some people are so f***ing stupid.
