My fiancé has been struggling with coke use for awhile. Tonight I called the cops but they weren’t much help, we have a 1 year old and I’m pregnant, staying home with no income relying on him entirely. We are in the lists for housing and shelter but what more can I do? I have no where else to go, can CPS take my kids away? I’m not doing anything wrong and I’m trying so hard to get us out of this situation my heart is breaking

If your child is being neglected or abused you can be investigated by CPS. If your fiance is a threat to the baby that could be a cause for an investigation. I would say begin building your support group. Whatever that may look like...family, friends, medical team, case manager, social service agency. Explore your options. He won't get clean until he's ready. I've been in love with an addict before and your heart will never stop breaking until they are ready to get clean. What's your living situation?

If they find out you are allowing your child to be around their Dad who is using drugs and may even have drugs around them, then yes. I would leave as soon as you can and try to find some friends or family or some type of supportive resource to help you out!
