Stabbing pain under rib

Anyone experiencing sharp, stabbing pain under the ribs? It started this Sunday, and we were scared, so we went to the emergency labor and delivery. They ran all the tests, said everything was normal, and sent me home, but I still have pain on both sides. I really don’t want to go back to the hospital, and I’m already worried about how high the bill will be from that visit. Should I be concerned, or could this just be ligament pain?

@Rebecca I’m sorry you’re going through this. Have you reached out to your OB yet? Also, is the pain constant or does it come and go?

Could it be because your ribs are shifting? I have sore pain in my ribs because they are moving up while my uterus is moving up

It’s okay I believe it’s just the baby moving around ? It comes and goes mostly when I’m laying down in a certain position

Are either of you more on the petite side? It's possible you babies have shifted and their feet are now pointed up at your ribs 🤷 definitely talk with your OBs at your next appointment.

Yes it’s completely normal, because the baby is growing in size and weight. Also, at times it happens because of gas/acidity issues. Try to avoid certain fatty foods. Do tell your OB in next visit.
