My daughter is sick for the first time ever!

So my daughter just turned 14 months and has never been sick. The past two nights, she's waken up out of her sleep, crying with a runny nose. I suck the snot out and put her in our bed, and after some cuddles and a few cries, she's back to sleep. But this morning, the runny nose didn't go away. She's had this runny nose all day and is coughing. Her coughs sound productive, but obviously, she can't spit the phlegm out. She's been fussy off and on today (more off than on). Tonight, she only ate two bites of dinner. Thank goodness she doesn't have a fever but it seems like a somewhat constant drip coming from her nose. I just feel so bad for her, I don't know what to do. I gave her Tylenol earlier today, when she was more fussy, for any discomfort she may have been having. I also got some ColdCalmBaby drops for her, and I just gave her the first vial, so hopefully, that helps. I'll be taking her to see the pediatrician in the morning. I know I can't do any antibiotics, but do yall have any tips on things I can do to help make her more comfy? FTM BTW, so this is a first for me.

Steam bath can be helpful or humidifiers. But basically you just want to keep them hydrated and allow their body to get through it. We also do Tylenol when she seems inconsolable after all the usual stuff and that generally helps her relax enough to sleep. It’s tough!

Snot sucker, little remedies nasal spray, Tylenol, lots of water, and a cool mist humidifier when they sleep. It'll pass, at least she doesn't have a fever! I went through the same thing a couple weeks ago. My son got sick for his first time ever too. It's heartbreaking but they're strong ❤️ My sons sleep schedule was totally thrown off for a week.

thank you!
