Partner doesn't hear baby cry at night - going back to work
I go back to work in January and I'm a shift worker meaning 2x a week I'll be on nights. My partner never gets up with baby if she fusses through the night and usually stays asleep (I don't mind atm as it's very rare she'll wake anyway lol). But I'm worried he won't hear her when I'm not here or am I overthinking it and he will just naturally be a lighter sleeper because he will be the only one here?

My husband is like this, and I left him on his own with our baby for a weekend in July. They were all good and he did sleep lighter because I wasn't there x
In my experience he wakes when Im not there, they subconsciously know they are on duty x

Following as I'm in a similar boat. Not working nights but I have a birthday weekend away planned in a few months and my partner similarly never wakes up. My mum said he'll sleep different and more light while I'm away but would love to hear others opinions x
