Hi mom’s I am a FTM who got to know how daycare works super late. My son will turn 1 in a month. I need to get back to work due to financial issues. I am planning to join my son next year to the daycare.
My son is very engaging and very smart loves to read books and actually learn anything. I want a place where he would learn something every day and make him get engaged. Please help me I never knew daycare even has a waitlist 😭
Get your son on a bunch of waitlists and keep your fingers crossed something because available. You can also look at home daycares or nannies that come to your house. We procrastinated and started getting our daughter on daycare waitlists late. We added her to maybe 12 waitlists. We got luck and one had availability 1 month after I returned to work. Slowly we started hearing from other daycares that had availability. We got into our 1st choice 6 months after I started work. We consider ourselves lucky that it all worked out despite our procrastination.
