Do you co sleep?

I know all the safe sleep guidance but I'm still too scared to co sleep! Lying here with baby fast asleep on our bed and I can't bring myself to go to sleep. All of a sudden she's become quite clingy so this is the first time I've put her in the bed.

I hadn't until a week ago and then he just wouldn't go down and we both just needed sleep. I still don't particularly like it but last night I'd only had two hours sleep by 5am until I caved and put him in the bed with me

Look at the guidance on the lullaby trust. If you do it safely and it means you and baby get more sleep go for it! I’ve coslept with my LO since she was 8 weeks. She usually does the first half of the night in her cot and then comes into bed with me anywhere between 2 and 5am (differs each night) if I didn’t bring her into bed when she wakes at this time I would spent an hour rocking her to sleep for her to wake again half an hour later. I was doing this for weeks and was absolutely exhausted. When we started cosleeping we both slept so much better x

I've done it with both of mine❤️ I know that I don't move in my sleep🙂 xoxo

I coslept with my baby until 10 weeks when she then went into the next to me, but I still bring her into our bed at around 5/6am each morning for her final sleep. I love waking up with her next to me and it feels so natural. Like others have said it can be done so safely ❤️

So I think the new guidance is that IF YOU DO IT SAFELY then cosleeping actually reduces the chances of SIDS xx

Yep! Done it since baby was 3 weeks old and now nearly 6 months. Was always against it but when it’s the only way you all can sleep it’s the best solution when done safely. Works for us, might not for you. I would suggest looking into it though. There’s great support groups for it on Facebook and Instagram, a massive community out there. X

I’ve co-slept with my boy since he was about two/three weeks old. I love it. Was scary at first, but as long as you make sure you’re doing it sensibly and safely baby and you will be absolutely fine.
