@Monét I haven’t stopped pumping at my normal routine . Literally nothing has changed from what I’ve always done . :/ he’s always been bottle fed
@Haven ah he is exclusively bottle fed? Have you changed your pump parts recently?
@Monét yes he is ! And no I have not, I definitely need to
@Haven yes! That can help so much.
@Monét thank you so much!! What parts specifically have you read that helps ? Besides the duckbill
@Haven all of them! The tubing, the flanges. And depending on the pump, the back flow protectors like in a spectra
I have the same issue. I heard when you get your first period, supplies drop. Try Mg and Ca vitamins and non alcoholic beer as well. For me it’s not the pump issue.
Double check you flange size as well, my flange size has changed a few times since giving birth, im now 8 months pp
If you aren’t removing milk as much as your baby drinks it, whether it’s bottle of bm or formula, your body will acknowledge that as needing to produce less milk. You have to get back on a schedule and you can’t miss a pump if the baby is bottle fed. Also make sure you’re pacefeeding the bottles. It’ll help keep baby’s demand at a reasonable amount and avoid over feeding and/or not being able to keep up.
