@Francheska it could be a lube issue to be fair, I’m allergic to regular lube so we don’t tend to use it. We use (sorry for the grossness) spit but it feels like it doesn’t cut it so that could partly be the reason for the pain? I have noticed though that sometimes I can get tenderness in my scar when I’m sitting or crouching in a certain way, so I’m not sure if the scar tissue is too tight. They did mess up my stitches so it might have healed poorly 😭
Try a different type of lube! What is it your allergic to? You can get some that are good for allergies! But it seems like a lube issue, the problem is spit will dry fast and cause friction unfortunately which will lead to more discomfort! I get tenderness on my scar sometimes if I’m stretched a certain way when sitting or moving around. Remember the scar tissue is still fresh really and skin goes through several layers of healing, and your internal muscles are probably still healing!
I’d deff see if you can get it checked though just incase there is maybe an internal issue with the scar or the muscle healing?
And don’t forget pelvic floor exercises really really help!
@Francheska I’m not sure what I’m allergic to, we’ve tried 4 different types of lube and I react the same every single time 😭 there’s a special lube for allergies I found on Boots, I might have to give that one a try and see if it causes a reaction. I’m definitely gonna ring the doctors to check the state of my scars though
I had forceps and episiotomy, sometimes my scar hurts but honestly LUUUUBE. Like. So much lube 😂 you’re extra dry after pregnancy anyway due to hormones. And taking it slow! I found that on top doesn’t hurt anywhere near as much as others but we took it slowly from around 2 months and now it only hurts or is uncomfortable occasionally. If it’s super painful I’d deff check with a. Dr though. Could be a chance internal scar is still a bit tender?
