Feed in the night

We are still breastfeeding in the night here, at least once sometimes twice or more

My boy is the same he wakes in the night anyway but once or twice he will want a good feed. He only ever takes max 3 or 4 oz anyway in one go so that's a lot for him. He refuses mostly to have a lot of milk in the day so I'm wondering if he needs more solids in the day to get him the calories he wants maybe he won't wake wanting milk then? He also won't drink water yet 🙈

No, we sleep trained at 8 months couldn’t keep doing the broken sleep with work all day I was dying lol. Life’s so much more settled now he’s sleeping all night.

@Jay what sleep training did you do?

We've been trying the no milk during the night. It's been hell. 2 hours it took me to get him back to sleep and he only drank 3oz our of 7... Been trying to bop him to sleep and gently talking to him. It hasn't worked so far. Some nights it's 1 wake up others it's 2 or 3.

@Zoe Ferber method within a week he was sleeping through. Would have taken less but I kept giving in and going in too soon when my husband convinced me to leave him he actually just fell asleep on his own lol

No she stopped at 3 months. However she went through a phase at 10 months where she was waking up every night for about 3 weeks. Idk what that was & she was asking for a bottle I guess because every time I gave her milk she went back to bed straight. She has since stopped night feeds again but yeah. I’m thinking maybe I wasn’t feeding her enough in the day or might’ve been teething

So my daughter goes to be for 10pm wakes up between 2/3 I’ll put dummy in and lay her down she’ll go back to sleep then around 6/7 for a feed normally half a bottle and up for 9:30/10am
