Breastfeeding / screaming at bed time
Recently my 11 month old daughter is screaming hysterically unless given the boob at night. Then she will just suck for comfort - Nothing else will settle her - things before that worked don’t now. She won’t take a dummy at all now - Any advice? 🥲

Just had 1hr 45mins of this-3 x she was placed on the boob to which she settled and just cried/screamed once off. You are not alone 😭
Message of solidarity here. Isaac has started doing this this week, full on body thrashing too. Mine has never taken to a dummy though. Normally bum pats work, but the other night my husband had to sit him on his knee for about 15 minutes in a hug whilst he screamed and thrashed (this was after 2 hours of none stop screaming and he's never been a screamer) he then cuddled him and went to sleep. That was the worst one
Yep I have the same - I tried to rock instead of giving the boob and I just got constant screaming albeit I give up rather easily for sleep 😭

Not advice just reassurance that this is very very normal, albeit hard at times. Is co-sleeping an option for you? Baby gets boob and you get rest/ sleep x
