Breastfeeding

I breastfed my daughter until 18 months and I’ll be honest it was difficult throughout for so many different reasons. I’m pregnant with baby number 2 now and the thought of breastfeeding fills me with so much anxiety. I don’t know if I could do it again but I feel so guilty about not giving them both the same start. Is there anyone that found it easier with number 2? 😭 not due until may but I’m thinking ahead.

I had latch issues with my first and managed to BF for 11 months. When I fell pregnant with my second I did stress about if I could do it. My second will be a month on Friday and it’s so much less stressful!

I found it a lot easier second time round. I don't know if it's because I was better prepared this time. I'm still breastfeeding him now. My biggest issue is when to stop lol.

Pregnant with number 2, due in May. I’m planning to breast feed but use formula too. I over produced horrendously with my first, if I didn’t pump 3 times a day I was in agony, but soon realised I was making it worse pumping, plan to use formula when I’m not there and just not pump (probs til I have mistitis again and have too). I breastfed til 5 months and that’s the aim, we managed to wean off super easily at that age too. I think it gives a great start to life, but then I managed to get my body back. You managed sooo well with your first!! I mentally was struggling x
