Milestones

My little boy has been getting up on his knees for a while but would always just flop back on his belly and not really try to crawl. He’s just under 11 months and over the weekend crawled for the first time and now there’s no stopping him! Sometimes they don’t show many signs and then all of a sudden something clicks in their brain and off they go! My little boy was also 3 weeks early x

3 weeks early and it also just clicked all of a sudden. Their brain has to work it all out and it will. I've found I hate people trying to help mine to walk. He'll just do it when he's ready. He confidently pulls up and navigates getting down again. He's happy with that and will work out walking when the time is right. As long as they have lots of room to explore and build their muscle it's all they need to put the steps together!

My little boy was 6 weeks early, he's 10 months old now- has only learnt to sit unaided in the last month and showing no signs of being ready to crawl yet x

My little boy was exactly the same, he was a happy sitter , when we had our 10 month check the hv put the fear of god into me saying he Wouk’s need to be referred if he wasn’t moving soon so for the past 3/4 weeks I’ve been on the floor constantly doing physio moves to help him (I no these from private and nhs physio with my 2nd little boys he’s now getting in and out of sitting and staring to moving slightly I’m hoping he gets the full gist soon and takes off it’s had me worried he was also over 3 weeks early xx

Our LO is not crawling yet. She hates being on her tummy. I put her on her tummy and she immediately rolls to her back. She sits up well but cant sit up herself yet and bum shuffles to things. She also stands well but can't pull herself up yet. She is 10.5 months and only 1 week early. My first was almost walking at this age and fully crawling at 6 months old so they are all different
