Anxious about moving toddler from cot to bed
We’re going to be moving our 3 year old from his current bedroom (with his cot in) to a slightly bigger room with a single bed. He’s a very tall boy and is really outgrowing his cot so the move is necessary but I’m so nervous about him not liking it or it messing up his sleep! We’ve talked to him about it and shown him how his new bed and bedroom will look, it’s going to be super cosy and nice but I’m still so nervous! Can anyone share some success stories??
Our transition was absolutely fine. She’s dinosaur obsessed so I got dinosaur bedding and a little decorative dinosaur thing to hang on the wall next to her bed. In the run up to changing I talked to her about how she was getting a new dinosaur bed and she was so excited when she saw it. She’s slept in it fine from day one and so far literally never got out until we come to get her in the morning!
