Hey maybe try letting him air out, and I’ve used cocoa butter which helped as well as aloe Vera “the plant” just a little bit will go a long way

I use aquaphor and it’s so good she also has sensitive skin, when my baby gets rashes I find aquaphor helps her more then the rest or the cetaphill brand

Appointment with pediatrician to get a prescription diaper cream, baking soda baths, air dry (or use one of those portable handheld fans), yogurt for probiotics, super frequent diaper changes to avoid them being wet as little as possible on their skin. Best of luck momma💛

Airing out does wonders! I had a similar problem with my son this weekend and I just put him in the empty bathtub for 1hr 2x a day and then used Desitin extra strength (the purple lid; 40% zinc oxide) and it fixed the problem in 2 days. I also stopped using wipes and preferred to use lukewarm water in a bottle to softly spray and wash his buttocks when he pooped. Hope this helps!

Desitin is not good, use a natural cream and it will disappear. The best one is earth mama diaper balm

I use cornstarch for my babys and it helps a ton cause desitin would always just make it worse

Airing out can help but it might be a yeast diaper rash which requires an antifungal cream prescription

My guy has the MOST sensitive tush! My mom is an OB- RN and she got us this. The high concentration of zinc has worked magic for us. It’s one of our #1 gifts for new moms. https://a.co/d/eFYAMiH

Aquaphor worked best after using Destin which broke my daughter out. Make sure you do often nappy changes! Airing out helps too. Breastmilk baths are a bonus.

Destin has perfume in it — cut that out. Switch to just aquaphor and only wipe with wet towel. Air dry if possible.

Maybe switch to cloth diapers, worked on both my boys who have had sensitive skin. Especially as newborns. With cloth I barely used anything but occasionally a bit of corn starch powder (the main ingredient in baby powder).

I also want to advise my son got a horrible rash one time and wouldn’t go away, it turned out to be a yeast infection and had to get prescribed nystatin ointment 😅

When Desitin doesn’t work for my little one with extremely sensitive skin we use Boogie Diaper Rash Spray. My little one gets rashes from all wipes except water wipes (any brand) and some diapers. And gets rashes when sick from whatever changes occur with her stool. https://amzn.to/4fgVLKA
