Is there anyone else who just hasn’t left baby with anyone for an afternoon / day?

I just can’t get myself to do it. I panic about nap time, snacks, dinner, her comfort, but I wish I could just go out and do something alone one day

I used to be until he started nursery. Now those days are completely out of my control 😅 And now where he’s on 1 nap a day, he’s pretty good at going down at both sets of grandparents houses. But when he was still on milk and more than one nap I used to worry so much

You're definitely not alone in that. I haven't left mine with anyone as he still seems to cry for me when it's bed time so no evenings out for me still (I still breastfeed to sleep which once I can wean him off we hope he will be better so can have some date nights in). I don't feel like my LB is that comfortable with my in-laws yet and my parents are in another country so nobody else to help.

@Estell me too, still breastfeeding to sleep and currently putting her back to sleep for the second time tonight. There’s no break at all, but just trying to be patient

I actually take days off work when I really feel like I need me time as he goes to nursery so I have until 4/5pm to shop around or do whatever

I also have only left her with my others half’s mum for a few hours max. I have left with my other half for about 4 hours I think, but again I breastfeed to sleep and throughout the night so not comfortable leaving her for a full night yet. I did go out for a few hours and so my partner had to get her to sleep and deal with the first few wakes. It was tricker than if it was me but it was okay. I then just took over from midnight when I got back. Xx

Soo im living with my sister in law normally i leave my daughter with her while i have some appointments or groceries days but still my heart says what if she doesn’t look after her 🥹

And i left my daughter sleep with them while i was admitted to the hospital even aftwr i came home with a c ssction 🥹😮‍💨
