Birthing balls

Not this time around as I’m having an elective section and don’t want to be doing anything that could potentially help me go into labour ‘naturally’. I did use it with my daughter however. I felt so stupid being on it but I think it helped x

I used one religiously through the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy with my first, I was huge and our sofa was so low I couldn't get off it without help so it was the only way I could sit down😂 I planned to use it during labour but honestly when my contractions hit I couldn't move apart from reaching for the gas and air, but apart from the pain I had a fairly easy labour though so I think it helped maybe

Yes I have one, I used one with my first. I couldn’t use it during labour as I had back labour and it was too painful to sit down. But I found it really useful during pregnancy to help with all of the aches and pains and that is what I’m using it for this time.

ive ordered one, currently going through physio due to back pain so hoping this will help with it (it did with my eldest)
