@Tania for the most part yes but what I found most helpful was ice packs on my c section
I take 600 mg ibfrophen along with 500 mg Tylenol every 6 hours. This combo helps me and what my OB gave for pain management.

Just that specific combo. OB said taking them together typically help most with pain when taken together.
The hospital should have given you discharge instructions on how much ibuprofen and Tylenol to take. If they didn’t I would call your OB and ask. I also had a pain killer for a few days after. I was in tons and tons of pain after my C-section for about two weeks and then it finally got better. Rest as good as you can but also get up every few hours for blood flow. I slept elevated for probably a month after. Also shower nightly to get relaxed!
I had oxycodone for 10 days from birth, and paracetamol and ibuprofen together every 6 hours.
With my last one they told me to take ibuprofen
