Bedtimes

My baby is around 15 weeks and wondered are you putting baby down to sleep upstairs in there own cot/next2me on an evening and then heading downstairs until you are ready for bed or does baby stay downstairs with you until you are ready to head up?

My little one had a bath and then bed in his next to me upstairs in the bedroom and I take the monitor downstairs to keep a eye on him he’s 13 weeks and he’s starting to settle himself to sleep now so it’s gives me and my partner so us time if we do this, I guess it’s what works best for you xx

Baby stays downstairs with us then I go up around 9am for book and feed. Sometimes it takes a while but we’re normally turning our lights out around 10.30 and little one sleeps on and off for the night and is wide awake at 8am.

I wondered this myself aswell. At the moment it’s bath, bottle then falls asleep during bottle at 7.30 ish and stay downstairs with us till we go upstairs at 9.30 ish to change and put her down as we get to bed. Sometimes she wakes up and have the final feed sometimes she doesn’t and sleeps through the night till around 7ish

I put my boy in his crib and use the monitor. He's only usually in bed for an hour or so before I go in 🙂

He goes down at 7 in his Moses basket upstairs and I just check on him intermittently x

We’ve put out baby in the next to me with monitor on for over 3 weeks now and works well for us. Made us realise he was ready to drop a feed to as we was feeding him at around 7pm and then again at 10pm when we’d go up. Now he has a 7pm bottle and sleeps till 5am. As long as you keep an eye on them I don’t think it’s a problem xx

Mine has a bath at 8, massage and then a bottle at 8:30, in his crib by 9

She goes to bed like half hour before me haha! Around 8:45/9 then I play Roblox with my eldest for 20 mins then we have a chat and go to sleep so we all go up together , she’s in her crib and he’s in the bed with me

I try to put him down early every night but he can’t self settle, so by the time he’s down im shattered and end up going to bed too 🤣

We’re in a small 2 bed bungalow so not far reach of baby well put him down in his next to me at 9-10pm and we will relax In living room until bed with the baby monitor on ….I when I go to bed around 11-12 I’ll dream feed baby and change his nappie gently in bed next to his cot and he sleeps right threw it …then I go to sleep that’s how wev been doing it this almost 4months he’s a great sleeper from 8weeks

Thanks everyone! Put him down at 7pm in his next2me with baby monitor on last night and he managed to self soothe to sleep and slept until 4:30ish! Hoping for a repeat of the same tonight
