Headaches

I've had terrible migraines too, and went to A&E last weekend for this (since had one that didn't budge for 72 hours). They did some blood tests and put me on a drip to make sure I was hydrated. Prescribed me codiene to take home. Have not had the sickness, but pain lower down for sure. I found it comforting to go to A&E for them to test, reassured me. Hope it can be the same for you and they can work out if all of the above is interlinked. Wishing you better!

Please go to a&e, the pain in your ribs alongside headache and vomiting can be a sign of pre-eclampsia

I never had this with my other two pregnancies so it’s all very new to me. I am struggling to keep anything down due to the headache. That’s a very reassuring message - thank you so much!

@Emma I did read this when researching. I am only 15 weeks tomorrow tho. Heading up shortly and praying for anti-sickness medication and I am also iron deficient and my tablets won’t be being absorbed either.

I had awful headaches and was also iron deficient for most of my pregnancy. They kept checking for pre eclampsia as my blood pressure was variable so please go and get checked if you also have a pain under your ribs. Mine was fine though and it never developed into pre eclampsia. 15 weeks would be early for that so it's probably not serious. Hope you feel better soon!
