@Lucy this is something I have been thinking out x
Are you breastfeeding? Hormones don't really balance out until after you stop completely...if not it can take a year or more. It is different for everyone. If you already had a history of anxiety or other mental health concerns you might want to speak with your PCP or get into therapy...I personally use strategies (specific for me) rather than meds or therapy(no way without kids being present) and just power through it...this is also a risk factor for postpartum depression.
Might be worth looking into PPd or PPa and talking with your doctor or therapist about it.
I'd definitely reach out to your GP re PPA/PPD lovely. I waited until 22 months and now may miss PRAMS which would be better than general. Babe is 22 months and I'm no better yet, if anything almost as bad as newborn days and 3 months when she had surgery on her skull bless her. Now I'm out of survival mode finally, it's all come crashing down again xx
I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. I’m 5 months pregnant and also dealing with anxiety. I know how challenging it is. Have you tried talking to a therapist about it? Therapy is really helping me.
