Nappy change in the night?

I’m just curious to know how many of you still change your little ones during the night. Personally I dont if it only a wet one, I found if I did my little one would wake up and be almost impossible to get back to sleep. Sometimes when I was changing her the nappy would be no where near full so I stopped around the 2 month mark. I understand where all different and just interested to know what works with you guys. I don't change my baby overnight either because it's only ever wet and doesn't leak. He doesn't seem to poo when he's asleep, otherwise it would be different x

Like you, I never change my little girls nappy if its only wet😊 However if for whatever reason she has to be changed in the night if she’s soaked through/been sick she’s very quick to fall back asleep luckily! Once she’s changed in the morning, without fail she will always do a number two straight away in her clean nappy😆

We do when we do the feed but will be stopping soon.

Once through the night usually around 4/5am, it's usually very full of wee

I had stopped changing wet ones, but I found the Sainsburys nappies were starting to leak through. Quite often if I changed her she would be awake again for a couple of hours! I’ve found she’s been better in the 4+ size overnight or using pampers instead.

I change to wake him up so he has full feed then he sleeps for longer otherwise if he’s not changed he will go back to sleep so soon and will never finish his feed and will wake up in an hour or two

Because he sleeps through now he only has wet nappies so we just change before bed and then when he wakes up. Doesn’t have any leaks etc x

Never

I try and do it once through the night x

Only change if it's a poo in the night

I change the nappy before I feed. Just in a routine.

I don’t change my baby unless he wakes up for a feed then I change him then feed him then he goes straight back down

@Maria same

I change if she wakes up for a second feed because I know after that feed she’ll leak if not. Otherwise let her sleep.

I do not touch my baby unless he’s soiled and I notice or he wakes up to eat lol

Just if he wakes and needs feeding as I find giving him a full bottle and not changing results in him leaking by morning. But the off night he sleeps through I don’t touch him and just lie like a statue, normally awake convinced he will wake up at any moment 🙈

@Kathryn Howard haha I like this reply, I’m sure we all lay there like statues 😂

I always check her nappy when she wakes just in case, but rarely need to change

I always change in the night. Mason is a little monkey for falling asleep on the bottle so when he does I'll change him, it will wake him a tad but he will then finish his bottle. Still manage to get him fed and changed and back to sleep in under 30 mins.

I’ve just stopped changing her
