New

Hello I’m new to this app. I’m seven weeks pregnant and this is my first baby. Is it normal for symptoms to disappear and come back and I took a pregnancy test strip and it’s very very faint

Hello - please don’t take this as an alarm. Have you had any cramping or bleeding?

@Katie no bleeding little bit of cramp like period

@Anonymous spotting can be normal. How far along are you?

Keep an eye on it, chuck away the pregnancy tests as hard as it is. What will be will be and I know that myself from My own past I know it’s difficult. But keep taking your vitamins and looking after your body, if you get any bleeding call your EPU ok? X

@Anonymous ride it out that’s all I can say, it is hard I totally know how you feel. If anything changes definitely do to EPU x

Hey ladies! I am 8 weeks and have just had an early scan yesterday which definitely reassured me before I have the proper NHS one at 12 weeks. That could be a shout? I’m sure it’s nothing, but definitely agree to get rid of the tests and try to stay positive 💕

@Kirsty I have a scan today just because I need to put my mind at rest but I hope nothing is wrong it’s just the really faint line on my test. At seven weeks pregnant is really concerning.

Hi - how scary, and just to say I’m in a similar position in case that’s comforting. I had a difficult night last night because my morning sickness, breast tenderness and tiredness suddenly disappeared and I’ve been worrying I’d lost the baby. Lots of googling tells me it’s normal for symptoms to come and go… and suddenly my morning sickness has come back like a freight train so I’m hoping it’s all ok. I also have a private scan on Friday 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Could it be hook effect? When the hCG is so high it starts to make the test negative. I’d definitely recommend a scan though

I hope your scan goes well xxx

How did your scan go OP?
