Concerned- walking ?

So my little one will be 15 months at the end of the month and he’s not walking just yet… should I be concerned? He will walk along the sofa very quickly whilst holding on a bit and also if I sit on the floor and try get him to take some steps to walk to dadda .. he will do it like that only if he’s made to 🙈. Or he will walk along our cupboards in the kitchen by keeping his hands on the cupboard. Or he will walk with his walker if I get him to but not for long. Anyone else the same ?

My boy is exactly the same, think we just have to have patience and it'll come, until 18m it's not a concern. But I honestly can't wait now till he's walking even if everyone tells me it'll be a stress when he does 😂

How long has he been like that? Every child will have his/her pace but when my baby started walking from mum to dad it took just a week to take steps on her own. I would say you can encourage him by clapping and celebrating when he does and soon he will get the confidence ❤️

I wouldn't worry. They all do it in their own time, and walking is an 18+ months milestone so theres still plenty of time to get there. My son was cruising along and walking with assistance for months (from about 11 till 14 months) before he just got up one day and decided he's going to walk everywhere now. We just encouraged and praised him with even the smallest of movements till he built up his confidence. I was excited for him to start walking, and now I wish he would just sit down 🤣

My little girl is 15 months and still not walking. With her it’s just pure laziness. She can crawl everywhere so why would she need to walk I think is her mindset 🤣🤣 I’m not concerned at this point. All babies do it at their own pace xx

My LG just started walking at 16m two weeks ago. Just keep encouraging and give praise. They will walk 🥰
