Dull achy pain left side of vagina and down my leg a bit

I’m 22 weeks just phoned triage as it’s happened last night and throughout the night aswell and they’ve said it’s probably where baby is on a nerve but there’s not a lot they can do for that. Has anyone else had this kind of pain and is it fairly normal please? I just need some reassurance as I’ve never had this pain before and it defo doesn’t feel like round ligament pain😅

I’m 22 weeks also, I’ve had the same pain and they said the baby is pinching a nerve. It’s gotten to the point where my whole upper left thigh is numb and tingling 😭. My midwife suggested a belly band and prenatal yoga to help get the baby off the nerve.

Thank you for replying. Has this lasted for quite a while? Obviously baby’s been loving around which makes me feel like he should’ve moved off the nerve but it still hurts

Right there with you on this! 22weels as well and dealing with the same!

I am so relieved to know it isn’t just me! I was up at 3am thinking the worst letting my mind run away with me x

HIGHLY recommend going to a chiropractor! I went for the first time last week, with upper back, lower back, horrible hip and sciatic pain, and neck pain, and it helped SO much. The sciatic/hip pain didn’t start coming back til yesterday and I had gone on Monday! I go again today 🥰

@Kas for me it started 2 weeks ago. Some days it doesn’t bother me and some days it can be really painful. My doctor said that the baby will move off the nerve eventually.

I can’t recommend a prenatal chiropractor enough. They have made such a difference in my pregnancy pain and I sleep better.

I haven’t really got the money to see a chiropractor atm I took some paracetamol and that’s worked for me so far today! Although the lightening crotch isn’t helping the situation 😂 thanks everyone I just wanted to know I wasn’t alone and other people have had this too

That’s round ligament pain most likely or possibly baby is putting pressure on a nerve. It feels like someone is stabbing me in the labia. 🥴Though mine started around week 14, I’m fairly certain baby was pressing on something because I could give my belly a little jiggle and it stopped as soon as she moved. It mostly happened when I was walking a lot. Haven’t had it in a while.

You could also try elevating your pelvis over your heart with some pillows this should shift baby off of your pelvic floor for a little bit. Doing pelvic tilts might help to.

@Eliza it doesn’t feel like the round ligament pain I’ve had before, it was hard to explain. Triage explained it as baby on a nerve but it was there constantly for hours even when I felt baby move so I don’t know how he hadn’t moved off of it and why it still hurt. Any little pain concerns me though tbh🤣 thanks for the advice I will try if it comes back x
