Feeling overwhelmed by breast pumps?! 🤪

Hello all, not long to go now! I have decided I would like to try expressing milk (if possible) and I have been browsing through breast pump reviews online to help me choose which would be suitable for me. I would like a pump that is: - electric - discreet - not too expensive - relatively easy to dismantle and clean - maybe with an app to help measure / monitor sessions Maybe I’m asking for too much? Does it make much of a difference having two pumps on at the same time? I think I’d purchase a manual pump too, maybe from Lansinoh, so that I have something spare just in case. I know I have some colostrum because I had a cheeky squeeze last week so I will start hand expressing next week and possibly pumping if it’s easier. I’d love to know your thoughts! TIA

I ended up going with the Momcozy S9 as reviews seemed pretty good. I purchased from Vinted new in box for ÂŁ30. It seems pretty straight forward / easy to use so far.

Following! I bought a tommee tippee manual pump but would be interested to know what’s good as looking for an electric!

Try an in bra one if possible. Had a double cabled one that doesn’t sit in the bra for my previous baby and it was such a faff! Bought an Elvie stride this time around

It depends what you want it for. Are you going to exclusively pump? In which case you want a hospital graded one. If you juat want an ocassional bottle feed to give you a break, I would recommend waiting until breastfeeding was established and see how you feel.
