Early wakings?!

Anyone else’s 7 month old waking ridiculously early?! 😫 yesterday it was 5:30 and would not go back to sleep and today it was 4:30 🙃 eventually fell back asleep at nearly 6:30! Any tips on how to stop this? Can’t even say it’s because she’s sleeping too much in the day because yesterday she only had 3 X half an hour naps so less than the ‘recommended’ for her age?

I am in the EXACT same boat

Same 😰 hopefully it’s just another sleep regression, but as my LO isn’t actually waking crying I just leave him to blow raspberries and play around so hopefully he doesn’t get use to getting out of bed at that time 🤞

This has been me too!!! I’m trying to workout why?! I thought maybe he was hungry but he ate all of his dinner plus bottle last night 🤦🏼‍♀️ his not up because of teething pain either so I’m also at a loss! Was 0500 yesterday and 4:30 today!

@Zoe mine started with that and I ignored him and he went back to sleep but had been getting upset the last two mornings 🙈

Sounds like some sleep regression, but in regards to her naps I would drop a nap so they lengthen, I had the same issue with my daughter and it sorted it

Yes my little boy gets up at 5.30 or even 4.30 sometimes and will be awake for 2 hour before his first nap

Yes my 7 month old is the exact same for the past few weeks ! 4.30-5 he wakes up and it takes him ages to go to sleep 🫣

This morning when he woke up he was crying but wouldn’t have a bottle and fort he felt bit cold so stuck a jumper on him and went straight to sleep think I underestimated how cold it gets at night now, gunna propa layer him up tonight and see what happens x

Same! My 7mth old wakes up 3 times and wants a feed which he only takes 2oz, its so exhausting feel like it will never get better

Little one woke up at 3:44am winging and crying a little so I let him toss and turn for 20 minutes and then it went off!! Haven’t had nights like this since the newborn stage😂. We had just paid for a sleep therapist too so now going against everything they advised because we are picking him up, feeding him, getting him to sleep on us and then moving him into the cot. Great 🙈

@Geti oh noooo! That’s exactly what we are doing 🙈 what have they advised todo?

Depending on what method you choose, during the nights it’s best you don’t step in to hold them because they’ll associate calming down/sleeping with being held so when they wake up and realise they’re not being held they’ll cry and then you’re stuck in this horrible loop. Right now we are making it up as we go along and it’s very annoying

My boy has been exactly the same! Someone told me it could be because he is going down for his morning nap to early. Iv been holding him out half hour longer and it seems to be working waking at half 6 rather than 5! X

Mines the same, some days she tries waking at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and anywhere in between but every day is different. If she wakes up between 2 and 4 I always go get her a bottle as this has always been normal for her to have a bottle anywhere this time but she used to go sleep straight after. Now sometimes she ends up awake and I just have to let her muck about in bed after her bottle until she falls back to sleep as I refuse to wake up at that time lol

Mine is currently wide awake as he has been this time for last week, I go back to work Monday so not sure what that be like with no sleep, he doesn’t want a bottle he nappy fine he just wants us to be in his room, I don’t feel safe with co sleeping any advice?
