Rolling

Any bodies five month old tummy sleeping? My baby girl will be five months tomorrow and has decided she wants to constantly roll even in her sleep. Which I’m all for it you go girl but she has a hard time rolling from tummy to back. My anxiety is through the roof. She wakes up if I try to keep her on her side or back. I am constantly checking to see if she’s breathing I also have the owlet sock. Someone tell me they’re in the same boat as me.

Me. Mines been sleeping on her stomach for weeks now. It freaks me out but I can’t stop her so I keep checking on her. Good going that you have the sock Im sure thats giving you a peace of mind.

Mine started that too a while back & I was freaking out constantly trying to flip him until my birth coaches said it’s fine as long as they can lift their head up. Mine doesn’t always roll from belly to back so he’ll just wake up & that’s when I bring him in bed to sleep with me 🥹💖

Yes my sons been sleeping on his side or stomach exclusively for about a month now. He can roll in all directions and hold his body up. I always place him on his back but he immediately rolls.

Mine started rolling like a pro in the last day or two. Since then I also noticed she's preferred sleeping on her tummy. But hasn't tried to do it for night time only during naps which gives me peace of mind to see how she does with rolling back to her back but tbh she just stayed on her tummy the entire time and slept better/ longer that way

Yes my little girls been doing this but I also have the owlet so that took some worry away. I was told basically if they can roll both ways the they are usually fine

My daughter just started sleeping on her stomach too but she can’t roll herself back to her back. I have the owlet sock too and the Newton mattress so it helps me with worrying.

@Hristina yes the sock has helped a bunch I still get up to check her but she did good for the first night so I’m more relaxed now than before haha

@Daniella I bring her to bed with me in the morning too lol by the time I do that she doesn’t roll she just sleeps on her back
