Am I tripping ( short post)

“Y’all, I need your opinion. So, my baby daddy and I got into an argument over something that feels silly to me, and I’m wondering if I’m wrong. We’ve been together for almost 3 years and live together, and our daughter is 15 months old. She follows me everywhere around the house, including the bathroom. Today, I had to use the bathroom (I was doing a #2), and she came in with me because he was on his phone and not paying attention to her. He opens the door, grabs her out, and says that it’s nasty and dirty to have her in there. I didn’t see the problem because that’s my baby, and I pushed her out of me! Plus, I change her diapers and smell her poo all the time. So, what’s the issue with her being in the bathroom with me? Am I wrong here? What do you guys think?”

Your not wrong, my husband works full time and am at home with our 21 month old daughter and she always follows me into the bathroom and everywhere else. Sometimes you have to do what you can to keep them happy

@Yas I agree and the fact he’s making such a big deal makes me so upset we had a whole argument about it

He trippin

I don’t see anything wrong with it. Ppl do this all the time especially if they are home alone with baby. They’d even bring sumn to entertain them. He’s definitely dragging it

There is nothing dirty about this. I mean it's dirty if she touches the toilet brush or something but it's not dirty to just be in the room

It's actually recommended to have them accompany you in the bathroom from time to time to normalise using a toilet. Especially when potty training

Nope absolutely nothing wrong with it. My kids do the same and when my partner is away working I have no other choice because my youngest is obsessed with sneaking into the bathroom whenever someone is in it. It's more id love a chance to go to the bathroom on my own with some peace and quiet 😂😂

If he had a problem with it maybe he should’ve been watching her? Also it’s recommended when potty training.

I've never had my little boy when I've pood but our toilets are tiny and when he comes in when I've weed before he is grabbing everything, my trousers down more, the toilet and everything and then tries to eat the toilet seat... I just have to poo quick and listen to him knocking on the door. If our toilet was bigger he would still grab everything. Maybe when he's older and less likely to eat the toilet I might though

That’s just what kids do. They love being around mommy. My mom told me that’s what I used to do when I was a kid too

My 2yr old has tried to hug me while I was puking before nothing is gross to us moms😭

Thank you ladies because I’m like huh? I birthed her she wants to follow me everywhere who am I to stop her ?

I have boys and ima still let them follow me! (Until they get curious/old enough to be alone)
