Breastfeeding while pregnant HELP

So I’m breastfeeding my first baby (almost 11 months old) and I’m 8w+6d now with no noticeable change in supply but I’ve heard that can be an issue. Any mamas with experience that can give tips etc? I’m worried about my daughter getting what she needs but also worried about the new baby and all that!! So many concerns 🥹

If you don't have complications in your pregnancy, then your baby should be fine. For your supply, mine dropped when I was about 5 months and baby (18 months by then) dry nursed and then tandem feed with the newborn. Now, in my third pregnancy, it has been going on similar. I am still breastfeeding my 19 month old, milk supply is still there, I am 12 weeks, and I feel the whole story will repeat very similar to my previous.

Because your baby is already 11 months old, I would say it would not be an issue, by 12 months, their milk is still nutritional but solid food start playing the most important part, so as long as she is feeding good I think she should be okay. I am also not a doctor, so if you still have doubts, it never hurt to ask your pediatrician, and if she is real pro lactation, she will guide you well.

I was breastfeeding my baby till last week. She is almost 20 months. We had to stop it because we need good sleep. 🙂

@Stephie unfortunately her pediatrician said she had no idea what to recommend but if I stop breastfeeding or lose my supply I have to supplement with formula until she hits a year so I guess that’s what we’re doing as well as nursing when possible 🥲
