Nexaplanon

Hey guys, so I’m getting my Nexplanon removed and wanted to ask should I get the day off to do it or work 4 hours after it’s removed? I work with babies so I am holding babies a lot.

When I had mine removed it didn’t bother me at all I would say you’re fine to go to work mine was in the back of my upper arm I went to work after words where I was a server carrying trays ☺️

It might make your arm a little sore but it shouldn’t affect your ability to work if the heaviest thing you’re lifting is a baby. I’d wear a sleeve you can pull down over the gauze so no babies grab it 😅

My doctor spent a good hour digging around in my arm for mine so I wasn't able to lift at work the day of, the day after was a lot better though

Take some ibueprofin and you’ll be good to go! My first two hurt a bit more than the third but I always went to work after and my first one was when I worked at a daycare too.

I’ve had it for going on 9 years, meaning I’ve had 2 removed, on my third. It’s very easy, not very painful. You should be good to go.
